I just started it. I'm about a month late, I guess. But if there is not going to be any discussion I'm going to skip to Lewis Black and save this for later.

I read it, and I enjoyed it. However, I didn't learn much from it. It was a fun read, and really interesting stories, and it was cool learning the back story to one of the greats, but nothing stuck. I'm going to re-read it when we have some down time and try to get more out of it.

Yeah I read half of Pryor and then read all of lewis Black. I'm a big fan of both comics, but Lewis' book felt more honest. I guess we are not having any discussion on either book?
I already read Patton's book. As far as the comic's autobiographical genre goes, Patton's book is miles ahead of both Pryor and Black. Maybe people will want to talk about that one?
